He has worked and trained at some of the top educational institutions in the US: including Harvard University and University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Kaddouh relocated with his wife and two kids to Hong Kong in 2011. For a period, he served as a consultant at Central Health Medical Practice, a highly-regarded medical practice in Hong Kong. I came to know and love Ghazi while I was a graduate student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Ghazi was a counselor at Harvard at the time and counsel me he did. He gave me perspective on where I was and perspective on what was within me to accomplish while I was there. His spirit is difficult to describe in words without experiencing it first hand, but there is a soulfulness, kindness, wisdom, grace, understanding and acceptance to Ghazi that engulfs you while in his presence. He makes one feel infinitely better about oneself and that’s a special quality to possess and to pass on to others. He is a spiritual guide in a modern age — an old soul for a new century. My only regret is that he is so far away from me logistically at this point that I cannot be in his company on a regular basis. Despite that, our time together feels like it was only yesterday.
